Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Colton Warner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieren Mccann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colton Warner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colton Warner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kieren Mccann!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccann tries to land a leg kick but Warner saw it coming and moves away.
Warner swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Warner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mccann tries for a takedown but Warner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Warner throws a big counter combination but Mccann scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Warner shoots in for a takedown but Mccann shows good takedown defense.
Mccann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Warner sprawls well. Warner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mccann gets slowly back to his feet.
Warner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mccann manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Warner doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Mccann moves into the clinch.
Mccann pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Warner breaks from the clinch.
Mccann closes this distance looking for a takedown but Warner circles away.
Colton Warner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kieren Mccann.

Mccann darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Mccann is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Mccann postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Warner to stand up.

Mccann misses with a knee to the head.
Warner misses with a punch to the body.
Mccann is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Mccann tries to break free but Warner pushes him back against the cage.

Warner decides to pull guard.
Warner is trying to control the position but Mccann postures up.
Mccann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Warner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Warner trying to keep a closed guard but Mccann is proving a slippery customer.
Warner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mccann on the ground.
Mccann not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Mccann drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Warner manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mccann has Warner in his guard.

Mccann wants to sweep here but Warner controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Mccann has a takedown stuffed.
Mccann shoots in looking for a takedown but Warner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mccann's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Colton Warner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kieren Mccann.
Mccann dives in and grabs Warner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Warner pushes down on Mccann's head and hops out.

Warner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Warner tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mccann smiles and moves away.

Mccann unleashes a big counter combination but Warner bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Mccann shoots for a double leg takedown but Warner sprawls well. He's pushed Mccann's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Warner appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Mccann keeps the fight on the outside.
The fight stays on the outside here - Warner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mccann is defended easily by Warner.

Mccann moves into range and clinches up with Warner.
Mccann changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Warner fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Warner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

and Mccann counters with a series of strikes. Warner will be more careful next time no doubt.
Mccann misses with a kick to the body.
Warner seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Mccann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Warner sprawls well. Warner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mccann gets slowly back to his feet.
Colton Warner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mccann rushes Warner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mccann takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Mccann gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Warner.

Warner breaks from the clinch.
Warner throws a head kick but Mccann moves out of range.
Warner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mccann tries to avoid it but Warner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mccann to the ground. Mccann escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mccann fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Warner, pushing him back against the cage.
Mccann prevents the takedown attempt.

Warner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mccann moves into the clinch.

Warner tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Warner managing to block the knees to the body from Mccann.
Mccann with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Mccann manages to pull guard.
Warner pushes down on Mccann's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Mccann tries to roll over but Warner keeps him under control.

Mccann is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Warner pulls his head out easily.
Mccann makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Mccann.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Kieren Mccann will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!



Warner gets tackled into the cage by Mccann. Mccann maintains the clinch.

Warner shoots for a double leg takedown but Mccann sprawls well. He's pushed Warner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Warner counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Warner.

Warner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Warner is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mccann's half guard.

Mccann manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Warner keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Warner manages to pull guard.
Mccann postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Mccann drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Warner manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mccann has Warner in his guard.

Mccann looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mccann wants to sweep here but Warner controlling him for the moment.
Mccann looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Warner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mccann has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Warner has managed to get both his arms back between Mccann's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Mccann has control of Warner's left arm, preventing Warner from doing any damage.

Mccann has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Warner has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Warner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Warner tries to clinch but Mccann moves out of range.

Warner moves into range and clinches up with Mccann.
Warner has Mccann pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mccann manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Warner stands and throws Mccann's legs to the side, diving into side control.

I would just about give that final round to Kieren Mccann.
I've got Mccann winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
