Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Correa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Correa! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Correa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hughes circles away quickly and effectively. Correa lands with a nice combination. Hughes backs away looking to recover. Correa misses with a wild combination.
Correa connects with a jab. Correa throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hughes counters with a lovely straight right hand! A combination from Hughes does no damage. Correa takes the fight into the clinch. Correa blocks an uppercut.
Correa throws a head punch that misses. Hughes on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Correa lands with a right to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Correa avoids the elbow strike from Hughes, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Correa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hughes's elbow. A right hand to the body from Correa.
Hughes pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Hughes tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Correa has a couple of punches blocked by Hughes.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Correa. Hughes is looking to control Correa's arms but Correa gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hughes has his back to the cage. Hughes takes a shot to the head. Hughes prevents a body shot from Correa. Correa swings away with an uppercut that misses.

A short body shot lands from Correa as the two fighters clinch.
A shot in the inside from Correa. Correa tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Correa blocks the elbow strike.
Correa misses with a hook from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hughes tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Correa lands a body shot in the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Hughes. Hughes swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hughes's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Hughes lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Correa backwards. Correa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hughes's elbow. Correa works on Hughes's body with a couple of short punches. Correa is working Hughes over against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Correa creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Hughes blocking some punches.

Correa lands a hook to the side of the head.

Hughes is rocked! The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Correa takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Oh Hughes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Correa pushes Hughes against the cage. Correa is working some dirty boxing. Correa pushes off with a quick right hook! Hughes goes down! Hughes tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Correa moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
