Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugene Ayers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Random Enemy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Random Enemy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eugene Ayers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Random Enemy! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Enemy moves into the clinch. Ayers pressing his opponent against the cage. Ayers manages to break the clinch.
Enemy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Enemy lands in his opponent's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ayers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ayers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ayers striking off his back but it's not causing Enemy any problems. Enemy wants to control from the top but Ayers keeps moving. Enemy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ayers manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Enemy has Ayers in his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Enemy working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ayers postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Enemy working a defensive guard but Ayers manages to pass into side control anyway.
Ayers tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ayers has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Enemy sneaks back into half guard. Ayers stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Enemy to get to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ayers has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Enemy. Enemy gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Enemy misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ayers.

A looping hook to the body misses from Enemy. Ayers does a little dance to reset his feet. Ayers is looking to counter with head kicks. Enemy throws a quick inside leg kick. Enemy gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ayers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ayers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ayers wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Enemy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ayers swivels and escapes. An attempted straight right counter from Ayers misses the target. Enemy has closed the distance and engaged Ayers in a clinch.

Ayers is trying to pull guard but Enemy has him pressed against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eugene Ayers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Enemy missing with knees to the body.
Ayers trying to control the position but instead, Enemy has worked for underhooks and has pushed Ayers into the cage. Ayers gets control of Enemy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ayers will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Enemy wants to stand but Ayers has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Enemy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ayers is pulling down on Enemy's head. It's preventing any offense from Enemy, at least for the moment. Enemy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ayers preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ayers pulls Enemy in close to prevent any damage. Enemy is looking to work some ground and pound but Ayers has wrist control. Ayers keeping moving, preventing Enemy from controlling successfully. Enemy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Enemy trying to control but Ayers is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Some wild striking there from Enemy.
Random Enemy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ayers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
An attempted straight right counter from Ayers misses the target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Enemy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Enemy wants it to stay on the feet. Enemy instigates a clinch. Enemy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Ayers pulls guard. Ayers looking to hit a scissor sweep but Enemy is one step ahead there. Ayers working a defensive guard here.
Enemy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Enemy working some strikes from top position. Ayers keeping moving, preventing Enemy from controlling successfully. Ayers is trying to control the position but Enemy postures up. Ayers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Enemy trying to control but Ayers is working from the bottom. Ayers working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Enemy wants to control from the top but Ayers keeps moving. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Enemy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Enemy postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A lazy body kick from Enemy and Ayers counters with a nice double leg into guard. Enemy is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Ayers presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ayers jumps into guard, dragging Enemy to the mat.
Enemy works over Ayers with some ground and pound from guard. Eugene Ayers overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Enemy wants to control from the top but Ayers keeps moving. Enemy throws a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ayers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ayers lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Enemy is looking to stand back up but Ayers counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Enemy. Enemy wants to get back to full guard but Ayers has mounted him! Ayers lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Ayers avoids the attempt from Enemy to control. Ayers landing strikes from the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ayers looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Enemy is wriggling around trying to escape.

Ayers wants to finish this one by submission but Enemy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ayers. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Eugene Ayers will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Eugene Ayers's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and Ayers counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Enemy wants to get back to his feet but Ayers is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ayers landing some decent shots from guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ayers throwing strikes from guard but Enemy blocks nicely. Ayers stops Enemy from standing up. Ayers decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Enemy, up you get! Enemy pushes Ayers up against the cage in a clinch. Ayers is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Enemy to keep the fight standing. Enemy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Enemy clinches with his opponent.
Enemy is trying to maintain a safe position but Ayers gets an underhook and turns Enemy into the cage. Ayers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Enemy tries for a takedown but Ayers sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Enemy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Enemy clinches up against the cage. Enemy has had enough of the clinch but Ayers keeps him there for the moment. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Ayers. Ayers tries to land a knee to the head but Enemy blocks with his arms.
Enemy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Nice elbow from Enemy. Ayers jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Enemy walks away with a smile on his face. Ayers gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A leg kick checked by Enemy. Enemy rushes Ayers and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ayers fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eugene Ayers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ayers fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Ayers is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Enemy to keep the fight standing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Enemy displaying some good clinch control by pressing Ayers up against the cage. Ayers manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Ayers is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Enemy defends well. Ayers manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Enemy gets in close and instigates a clinch. Random Enemy seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Enemy connects with a nasty looking knee right to Ayers's face.
Ayers taking a breather. Enemy is looking to control Ayers's arms but Ayers gets an underhook and turns him. Now Enemy has his back to the cage. Enemy pulls guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ayers scoring with some ground and pound. Enemy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Enemy manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ayers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Enemy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ayers but Ayers pushes him off and we're back to square one. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Enemy. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Enemy looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Ayers seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
And that's the end of the fight! Random Enemy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Enemy has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
