Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ode Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by Hurriganes - Get On. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jokinen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Lopez fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jokinen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Lopez rushes Jokinen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lopez is trying to trip Jokinen. He has hold of a leg but Jokinen is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lopez persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jokinen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Jokinen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lopez has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jokinen is looking to defend but Lopez has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jokinen! Lopez pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jokinen taps out and this one is all over!
