Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Le Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacks Sole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jerome Le Banner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacks Sole!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sole lands a jab to the nose.
Nice defenses there by Sole.
Banner has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A shot to the liver by Sole. Beautiful body shot.
Banner fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sole lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
We've been informed that Sole has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Banner shoots in looking for a takedown but Sole manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Banner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Banner connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Banner closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
You can see the frustration on Sole's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sole is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Sole is trying to control Banner's posture but Banner avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Banner grinds an elbow into Sole's temple.
Banner is staying tight to Sole's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Banner trying to control the position but Sole is working away.
Sole can't do much from the bottom here.
Sole on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sole struggling a bit here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sole tries to buck Banner off but Banner is having none of it.
Sole sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Sole is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Banner pulls his head out easily.
Sole wants to improve his position but Banner is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The fighters are battling for position here. Sole manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Banner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Banner looking to sit in guard and control but Sole gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Banner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sole is one step ahead there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Banner wants to stand but Sole is controlling the position.
Sole trying to control but Banner is working from the bottom.
Sole controlling from the top position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sole accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Banner is wriggling around but Sole manages to pass to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sole slips a nice elbow through Banner's hands, connecting with Banner's forehead.
Banner is not content to let Sole control the position.
Sole thows a huge punch but Banner dodges it nicely.
Banner wants to improve his position but Sole is controlling well.
Banner is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sole's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sole's back!
Banner wants to control but Sole is keeping busy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sole wants to control his opponent's hands but Banner gets his hands free.
Sole wants to escape the position.
Sole keeps trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jerome Le Banner will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


No luck with that takedown attempt from Banner.
Sole moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Banner fails with a takedown attempt.
Banner jabs at Sole's body.
Sole pushes Banner away with a front kick.
Sole throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Banner on the side of the head.
Sole lands with an uppercut that bounces Banner off the cage and back into range.
Sole lands with a good body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sole pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sole slips a jab from Banner.
Sole keeps Banner at a distance using the push kick.
A punch lands to the side of Banner 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Banner misses with a shot to the body
and Sole counters with a hugh head kick that removes Banner from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jacks Sole!
A very excited looking Jacks Sole made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
