Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matheus Dutra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dutra has chosen new pespective as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Allen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matheus Dutra! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Dutra with that takedown attempt. Dutra looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! A combination from Allen does no damage. Allen clinches up against the cage. Allen manages to break the clinch.
Allen scores a takedown into full mount! Allen has control of Dutra's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dutra regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Allen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Allen is working for a guillotine from mount but Dutra frees his head quite easily.
Allen wants to control the pace but Dutra is squirming around nicely. The referee warns Dutra that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen lands a big shot there that rocks Dutra but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Allen jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dutra manages to avoid the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Allen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dutra to his feet. Dutra falls off balance throwing a combination
and Allen counters with a three punch combo that has Dutra backing up. Dutra nods at Allen to acknowledge the strikes. Allen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. No joy there for Allen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Allen displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Nice shot lands for Allen. Nice body kick from Allen. Dutra showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Allen.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen has closed the distance and engaged Dutra in a clinch.

Dutra has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Allen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Dutra tries to get the hooks in deep but Allen pushed the leg off. Allen tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dutra is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Allen has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Allen! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Allen tries to stand but Dutra is controlling from the bottom.

Dutra had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Allen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dutra Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Allen's back instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Allen turns into Dutra and is now in his guard.

Dutra gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Allen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Allen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dutra does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Allen works his way into full mount! Dutra wants to control but Allen is having none of it. A nice elbow there by Allen. Dutra really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Dutra bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dutra is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Allen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Allen has escaped and now he's on top! Allen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Dutra wants to sweep here but Allen controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen stands and steps away. Dutra gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dutra wants to clinch and Allen counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dutra won't be happy with that. Allen is looking to take a break and control but Dutra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dutra can't do much from the bottom here. Marcus Allen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Allen fails to land a wild elbow strike.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen tries to advance to mount but Dutra denies him. Dutra is not content to let Allen control the position. Dutra can't do much from the bottom here. Allen wants to control but Dutra is keeping him busy.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dutra stuffs the takedown. Dutra shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Allen as he jumps to the side. Allen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dutra manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Allen manages to get himself to full guard.
Matheus Dutra has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Marcus Allen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Allen working a defensive guard here.
And that's the end of the fight! Matheus Dutra comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Allen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
