Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Karol Biernat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamish Mctavish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Biernat comes into the arena with Aleja Gwiazd blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mctavish shoots in but no luck this time.
Biernat swats away the attempt to clinch by Mctavish.
Mctavish fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mctavish shoots in but Biernat avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Biernat throws a big counter combination but Mctavish scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Karol Biernat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hamish Mctavish.

We've been hearing reports that Biernat has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Mctavish escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Biernat throws a shot to the body.
Biernat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mctavish.
As Mctavish looks to move away, Biernat throws a big counter combo but Mctavish just gets out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mctavish fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Biernat lands a left and a right that send Mctavish crashing to the mat, dazed. Biernat thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Biernat moves into the clinch.
Mctavish is still on wobbly legs! Can Biernat finish him?

Biernat pulls Mctavish into guard.
Biernat has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Mctavish has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Biernat breaks from the clinch.
Biernat lands with a big right hook that stumbles Mctavish - he's out on his feet here! Biernat follows up with another monster hook that separates Mctavish from consciousness! Mctavish falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Biernat stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Karol Biernat!
A determined Karol Biernat didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
