Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Strong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Broderick Brickstock! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brickstock moves out of range of the body kick. Strong lands a jab to Brickstock's midsection. Strong uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. A jab from Strong finds it's way through Brickstock's defenses. Brickstock defending well as Strong loads up on a big left hand. Brickstock avoids the body shot from Strong.
Strong lands with a slapping head kick. Strong thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Brickstock if he has to take too many more of those.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
As Strong backs off Brickstock throws a huge counter combo but Strong manages to avoid it all. Brickstock takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Brickstock tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Good leg kick by Strong there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Brickstock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Strong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Strong tries to bum rush Brickstock with a series of wild strikes but Brickstock uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Brickstock looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Brickstock misses the shot to the body. Strong is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brickstock takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Strong connects with a solid leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brickstock takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Strong feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brickstock's calf. Strong avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Strong fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brickstock has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Brickstock tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Strong was well out of range. Poor timing from Brickstock. Strong blocks a jab. Strong seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Strong looks to land a left hand but Brickstock moved out of range nicely. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Brickstock! But no joy. Strong misses with a head kick.
Brickstock has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Strong. Strong looks to score with a jab to the body but Brickstock is just out of range. Strong connects with an inside leg kick. Joe Strong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Strong throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Broderick Brickstock has been cut. Strong chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strong throws a head kick that Brickstock semi-blocks.
Strong lands with a thumping leg kick.
Brickstock moves out of range of the strikes. A looping hook to the body misses from Strong. Brickstock does a little dance to reset his feet. Brickstock misses with a hook to the body
and Strong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brickstock showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Strong.
Brickstock unleashes a big counter combination but Strong bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Strong buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A punch combination from Brickstock misses. Brickstock tries to move into range but Strong moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Strong dominated that round. The cut man is working on Broderick Brickstock's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Brickstock missing with a left hand there. Strong was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. That kick from Strong tenderised Brickstock's leg. Brickstock is trying to keep his angry face on. Strong moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Strong throws a nice outside leg kick. A low kick from Brickstock misses and Strong counters with a good, hard body kick but Brickstock shrugs it off. Strong throws an overhand right that lands on Brickstock's shoulder, as Brickstock tries to avoid the shot. Brickstock throws a hook to the side of Strong's head but Strong sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Brickstock steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Strong. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Brickstock! But no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brickstock blocks a jab. Strong connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Strong. Brickstock shrugs it off though.

Strong takes a swing at Brickstock's ribcage but misses. Brickstock unleashes a big counter combination but Strong bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Brickstock takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Strong, right into the meat.
Brickstock with a lazy takedown attempt and Strong moves into the clinch. Knees in the clinch landing for Strong.
Strong lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brickstock backwards. Strong scores with an uppercut up the middle. Brickstock's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Strong stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strong lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A knee to the head by Strong.
Strong lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Brickstock backwards. This has been an exciting period of action! A knee to the head by Strong.
Brickstock is rocked! Strong scores with a knee to the head.
Brickstock is still on wobbly legs! Can Strong finish him? Strong drops Brickstock with a big knee straight up the middle! Brickstock is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! Brickstock throws a combination that misses and Strong holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Strong throws a knee to the head but misses.
Brickstock seems to have recovered his senses. Strong landing knees to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strong utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Brickstock is breathing heavily. Strong drops Brickstock onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Brickstock is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet! The fighters are battling for dominant position up against the cage here. Strong manages to get control of his opponent's head and throws a big knee - Brickstock drops to the canvas! He's done! Strong goes wild and celebrates with his corner - this is a big victory for him and to get the win in such devastating fashion will certainly boost his reputation amongst the fans!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Joe Strong! A relieved looking Joe Strong thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
