Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Jarvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Forrest Jarvis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pat Turner! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turner dives in and scores a takedown into Jarvis's guard. Turner trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jarvis's guard. Jarvis has his hands on Turner's head, controlling the position. Jarvis working for a triangle but Turner defends it easily.
Jarvis tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jarvis looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Turner drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jarvis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Turner has Jarvis in his guard.
Jarvis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Turner on the ground. Turner throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jarvis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Jarvis postures up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Turner is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jarvis's half guard. Turner tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Jarvis wants to improve his position but Turner is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jarvis actively working from the bottom here. Jarvis desperately trying to maintain half guard. Turner stops Jarvis from getting back to his feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Turner closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Jarvis explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Turner is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jarvis's half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Forrest Jarvis will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

That's one minute gone in the round. Turner tries to keep control of the position but Jarvis is staying busy. Turner missing with strikes. Jarvis looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Jarvis is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Turner looking to break Jarvis's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Jarvis remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Turner will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Jarvis covering up well under a barage of strikes. Jarvis tries to roll but Turner sticks to his back.
Jarvis rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Turner is trying to control the action in half guard but Jarvis is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Jarvis works his way to full guard. Good work. Jarvis lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jarvis prevents Turner from getting back to his feet. Jarvis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jarvis wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving. Turner working a defensive guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Turner escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jarvis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jarvis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jarvis is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Turner throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Pat Turner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Turner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jarvis is working to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner throws a strike but Jarvis avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Jarvis not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Turner trying to control but Jarvis is working from the bottom. Turner controls from within his opponent's guard. Jarvis keeping moving, preventing Turner from controlling successfully. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Jarvis is staying active underneath Turner, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Pat Turner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Turner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
