Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Josef Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Death Stroke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Death Stroke has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josef Hanson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Death Stroke! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stroke fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Hanson looks to throw a body kick and Stroke counters with a series of strikes. Hanson will be more careful next time no doubt. Hanson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stroke counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hanson misses with a takedown attempt - Stroke sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hanson really is a fat lump. Stroke slips under a jab. Stroke feints a counter leg kick. Hanson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stroke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hanson. Hanson has Stroke up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josef Hanson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stroke works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Hanson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stroke postures up in Hanson's guard and throws a big left but Hanson blocks it. Stroke is looking to work some ground and pound but Hanson has wrist control. Stroke working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Hanson has momentary wrist control but Stroke slips an elbow through the middle. Stroke throws a big elbow that misses. Hanson pulls Stroke in close to his closed guard and prevents Stroke from doing any damage or advancing position. Stroke postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stroke is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Stroke throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hanson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hanson really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Hanson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stroke is aware though and is defending well. Hanson is breathing heavily. Stroke is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Stroke in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Stroke must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Stroke is looking to work some ground and pound but Hanson has wrist control. Stroke throws a big right hand that misses. Hanson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Stroke landing some decent shots from guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hanson wants to stand and escape but Stroke is having none of it. Stroke working some strikes from top position. Hanson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hanson is rocked! Stroke is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Oh Hanson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Stroke cracks Hanson with a solid left hand. Stroke loads up on a big left hand. Hanson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Stroke looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Hanson can't hide his disappointment, as Stroke celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Death Stroke!
