The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotti chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Doo can pounce on him.
Doo feints and then cracks Gotti's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gotti down.
A head kick from Doo lands but Gotti takes it in his stride.
Doo connects with a nice looking jab.
Doo fails with an attempt to clinch.
John Doo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doo lands with a slapping head kick.

Doo forces Gotti back against the cage and clinches.
Gotti misses with the head strike.
Doo lands with a short shot to the head.
Doo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Gotti backwards.

Gotti is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Doo creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Gotti with a big uppercut! Gotti tries to clinch up but Doo pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Gotti to the mat! Gotti covers up and Doo unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
