Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alvey Kulina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateusz Biernat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kulina comes into the arena with 2 Pac - California Love blaring out of the sound system. Biernat has chosen Training Montage by Rocky as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Biernat drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Biernat trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Kulina avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kulina knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Biernat on the ground.
Biernat won't allow Kulina to sweep him here.

Biernat is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kulina is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kulina has escaped and now he's on top!

Kulina wanted to stand there but Biernat had control of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Biernat wants to stand up but Kulina is controlling him.

Biernat will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
