The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Keene fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Sai instigates a clinch. Keene is trying to force a seperation but Sai has the dominant position. Keene blocks an elbow strike. Keene avoids the elbow strike from Sai, against the cage.
Keene digs a right hand underneath Sai's ribcage. Sai let out a lung full of air as it connected. Sai looks to throw an elbow but misses. Keene blocks an elbow strike from Sai.

Nice body punch from Keene. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. With the fighters up against the cage, Sai throws an elbow but misses. Sai misses with an elbow strike.

Dang Sai dominated that round. The cut man is working on Scott Keene's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sai misses with a shot to the body and Keene counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Sai slips under a jab from Keene. Good standup being displayed there by Keene as he connects with a hook. Keene paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A telegraphed right hand from Keene misses the target. Sai is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Keene can do to turn this around? A big left from Keene misses. Sai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sai keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sai moves out of range as Keene strikes. Keene has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sai is landing a low percentage of strikes. Dang Sai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Keene uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sai. A little jabbing left from Keene on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Keene throws the left hand but Sai avoids the punch easily. Keene cracks Sai with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Keene has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sai to stand back up!
Sai is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Keene darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Sai's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Keene before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Scott Keene! An out of breath Scott Keene thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
