Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ted Getstoned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Beefcake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Getstoned staying out of range there.
Beefcake throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Beefcake rushes Getstoned and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Beefcake tries a body shot but Getstoned blocks it.
Getstoned is trying to pull guard but Beefcake turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Getstoned jumps guard but Beefcake turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Beefcake lands with a light punch inside.
Nice body punch from Beefcake - that landed with a thud.
Beefcake misses with a hook to the ribs.
Getstoned ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Getstoned no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Getstoned looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Getstoned looking for a guillotine here but Beefcake defends easily.
Getstoned working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Beefcake doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Beefcake manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Getstoned might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Getstoned is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Beefcake pulls his head out easily.
Getstoned wants to get back to full guard but Beefcake has mounted him!

Beefcake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Getstoned. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

My spies in Hey Steves Fight Shack inform me that Beefcake has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Getstoned quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Beefcake has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Getstoned celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
