The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holliday misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Face.
It seemed like Face was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Holliday looks to land a right hand but Face moved out of range.
Face lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Harry Holliday has been cut.
Nice straight punches there by Holliday. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Holliday.
Holliday throws a lazy uppercut
and Face counters with a series of strikes. Holliday will be more careful next time no doubt.
Holliday throws a poor cross that misses
letting Face counter with a right hand.
Holliday ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Face moves away.
Holliday takes a jab right on the kisser.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Face defending well as Holliday loads up on a big left hand.
Holliday takes one to the side of the head.
Harry Holliday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Face uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Holliday.
Face looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Oooooh!!! Face has knocked Holliday down with a huge combo! Face steps away and waves a wobbly Holliday back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
A cross from Holliday lands.
Face throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Face looks to land a left hand but Holliday moved out of range nicely.
Holliday connects with a right hand. Face shakes it off.
Holliday drops Face with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Face looks back up at him and smiles so Holliday waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Face is rocked!
Face misses with a wild body shot.
Face is still on wobbly legs! Can Holliday finish him?
Holliday is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Face.
Face appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Face moves out of range of the strikes.
Face glances at the clock... BAM! Holliday nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Face crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Face is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Harry Holliday!
Harry Holliday bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
