The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reutland fails to land with a series of punches.
Mitch misses with a double jab
and Reutland counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mitch's guard now.
Mitch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reutland on the ground.
Reutland makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Reutland slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Reutland works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A lull in the action here as Reutland stalls from top position.

Reutland loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Mitch scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Reutland land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Reutland stands and salutes the crowd.
