Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Rebel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Dittschberger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dittschberger has chosen Axel Rudi Pell - Into the storm as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sven Dittschberger!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rebel on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Rebel lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Dittschberger fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dittschberger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No joy there for Dittschberger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dittschberger misses with a wild body shot.
Dittschberger takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dittschberger throws a series of strikes that have Rebel backpedaling.
Dittschberger takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rebel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dittschberger.
Rebel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dittschberger moves away.
Dittschberger fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Rebel swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Dittschberger has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Dittschberger avoids the body shot from Rebel.
Dittschberger looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Dittschberger tries to close the distance and clinch but Rebel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rebel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dittschberger.
Dittschberger misses with the combination.

Dittschberger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Charlie Rebel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Oooooh!!! Rebel has knocked Dittschberger down with a huge combo! Rebel steps away and waves a wobbly Dittschberger back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Dittschberger throws a right and a left that Rebel avoids nicely.
Dittschberger is still on wobbly legs! Can Rebel finish him?
Dittschberger is looking to land body kicks.
Dittschberger moves forwards but Rebel connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Charlie Rebel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rebel weaves into range and cracks Dittschberger right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Dittschberger goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Rebel is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
