Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teu cu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Schimpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Teu cu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Homer Schimpson!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Schimpson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
cu could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Schimpson has taken the fight to the clinch.
cu wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
cu jumps guard but Schimpson stands there with cu around his waist. cu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
cu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Schimpson walks away with a smile on his face. cu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
cu slaps away a takedown attempt from Schimpson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
cu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Schimpson tries to avoid it but cu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Schimpson to the ground. Schimpson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Teu cu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
cu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Schimpson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
cu shoots in but no luck this time.
Schimpson misses with a body kick.
Schimpson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
cu gets caught napping as Schimpson dives in and scores a takedown. cu manages to retain guard.

cu looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Schimpson passes into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
cu tries to kick Schimpson off but Schimpson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
cu is looking to improve his position.
Still in half guard, Schimpson seems content to control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Schimpson throws a head kick but cu moves out of range.
A counter left hand to the body from cu misses its target.
cu fails with a takedown attempt.

Schimpson shoots for a double leg takedown but cu sprawls well. He's pushed Schimpson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
cu is looking to counter with head kicks.
Schimpson gets a clinch.
Schimpson is working for takedown but cu is calmly controlling the position for now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Schimpson can do anything to dispel that myth.

cu wants to control from the top but Schimpson keeps moving.
Schimpson wants to sweep but no luck.

Schimpson wants to stand but cu is controlling the position.
Schimpson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but cu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Horrible takedown attempt by cu or perhaps it was just good defense by Schimpson, which made it look bad.

Schimpson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in cu's guard.
Schimpson got a little sloppy there for a moment and cu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Schimpson has managed to get both his arms back between cu's legs - danger averted.
cu looking for a guillotine here but Schimpson defends easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Schimpson stands up and we're back to a striking position.

cu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Schimpson rushes cu and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
cu is trying to pull guard but Schimpson has him pressed against the cage.
Schimpson lands an uppercut.

Schimpson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. cu is trying to keep an underhook but Schimpson manages to get the takedown into half guard.

cu is looking for a sweep. Schimpson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well Schimpson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
