Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddie Clark! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clark misses with a left hand and Diaz counters with a nice uppercut. Clark with a jab.
It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut. Eddie Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clark rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Diaz counters with a lovely straight right hand! Clark connects with a body shot that sends Diaz's belly button to the back. Clark throws a leg kick and Clark takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Diaz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Diaz takes a swing at Clark's ribcage but misses. Clark missing with a left hand there. Diaz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Clark lunges at Diaz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Diaz's hand. Diaz has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Thunder MMA in the buildup to the fight. Clark throws a leg kick but Diaz sees it coming and checks it nicely. Diaz appears to be looking for a big counter. Diaz fails with the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark blocks the body kick.
Clark throws an overhand right that lands on Diaz's shoulder, as Diaz tries to avoid the shot. Diaz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clark. Clark thumps Diaz with a low kick. Eddie Clark is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Clark moves away from the strike by Diaz. Clark throws a push kick but Diaz slaps the foot to one side. Diaz connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Clark connects with a jab. Diaz fails with the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz swings and misses with a shot to the body and Clark cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Clark cracks Diaz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Clark. Diaz tests Clark's chin there with a solid looking shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Diaz moves away from the strike by Clark. Diaz throws out a loose jab but Clark uses good head movement to avoid it. Clark misses with a leg kick and Diaz counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Clark throws an off balance right hand
and Diaz counters with a straight right hand. Clark lands a jab to the head.
Diaz is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Diaz out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Eddie Clark! Eddie Clark decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
