Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elliot Ball! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Everett Small! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Small moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Small throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ball counters with a good low kick that Small was not able to check. Small throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It looked like Ball wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Small rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ball moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ball is looking to counter with head kicks. Small lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ball circles away quickly and effectively. A punch combination from Small misses. Small's corner calls for a 1-2. Small obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Everett Small seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ball really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Small misses with a few strikes there.

and Ball makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Small throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Small misses its intended target. Small connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ball scores with a leg kick.

Ball looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Ball shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Small throws a right hand that misses
and Ball counters with a thumping low kick. Small swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ball counters with a nice body kick. Ball has managed to clinch.
Ball looking to throw knees to the head but Small is blocking nicely.
Small wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ball has him pressed against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ball tries a body shot but Small blocks it.
Ball manages to pull guard.
Ball has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Small would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Small must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Small wants to stand and escape but instead Ball has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Small escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ball gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ball scoring with some ground and pound. Ball would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ball makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Small is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ball is aware though and is defending well. Ball postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Ball content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Ball landing some decent shots from guard. Small working for submissions but it's allowed Ball to get to half guard.
Ball takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Everett Small dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Small looks to score with a jab to the body but Ball is just out of range. The fighters circle momentarily. Small darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A left and a right from Small both land. Nice combination.
Ball is rocked! and Small counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ball! He's just covering up as Small starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Everett Small!
