Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donald Swift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrik Breddam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henrik Breddam has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Donald Swift's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donald Swift! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henrik Breddam! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swift tries to close the distance and clinch but Breddam swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Breddam has Swift up against the cage in a clinch.
A short uppercut from Swift. Breddam is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Swift can't fight it off and eventually Breddam manages to take the fight to the floor. Swift looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Breddam trying to control the position from guard on top but Swift is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Swift wants to stand up but Breddam is controlling him. Breddam trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Swift is looking to stand up but Breddam isn't so interested in that idea. Breddam is working Swift over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Swift will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Breddam forces his way into half guard. Breddam throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Breddam wants to stand but Swift has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Swift wants to control but Breddam is keeping busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Swift tries to clinch but fails miserably and Breddam counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Swift is looking to escape. Swift knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Breddam on the ground. Swift is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breddam wants to control but Swift is keeping him busy. Breddam is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Swift has managed to free his arm - good work. Breddam controlling the action here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Swift is trying to stand up here but Breddam is controlling him well. Swift is staying active underneath Breddam, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Swift wants to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Breddam closes the distance and clinches up with Swift, looking for a takedown. Breddam pushes Swift against the cage but Swift circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breddam keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Breddam fails to land the takedown. Breddam shoots for a double leg takedown but Swift sprawls well. He's pushed Breddam's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Donald Swift has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henrik Breddam. Swift looks to clinch and Breddam counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Swift's guard now. Swift keeping moving, preventing Breddam from controlling successfully. Breddam pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Swift is keeping the position for now. Swift is working an open guard so Breddam takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Breddam fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Breddam jumps guard but Swift stands there with Breddam around his waist. Breddam gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Breddam tries to pull guard but Swift holds him up against the cage and eventually Breddam drops back down to his feet.
Swift using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Breddam has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Breddam drags the fight down to the ground.
Breddam tries to land a sweep but no joy. Swift wants to control from the top but Breddam keeps moving. Breddam is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Swift would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henrik Breddam dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Breddam pulls guard. Swift has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Swift throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Swift has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Breddam is proving hard to escape from. Swift wants to stand and escape but instead Breddam has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Swift has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Breddam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Breddam stands up from guard. Let's bang! Breddam shoots in and drives through. Swift sprawls well. Breddam shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Breddam showed some decent athleticism there.

Breddam stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Swift to get to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Swift tries to keep at a distance but Breddam has taken the fight into the clinch. Swift being controlled against the cage. Swift doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Breddam gets control of Swift's arms and successfully pulls guard. Breddam will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Breddam wants to stand but Swift is controlling the position. Swift wants to stand but Breddam is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swift wants to stand and escape but instead Breddam has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Breddam sitting in guard here, content to control. Swift looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Breddam passes into side control.
Swift is trying to improve his position. Breddam happy to just control the position for now. Swift wants to get back to his feet but Breddam drags him back down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Swift gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Swift tries to hold on but Breddam postures up. Breddam wants to control the pace but Swift is squirming around nicely. Breddam landing punches. BOOM! Breddam connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Henrik Breddam showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Breddam shoots for a takedown but Swift saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Swift darts in trying to clinch and Breddam counters with a single leg into guard. Swift didn't expect that. Swift really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Swift is trying to control the position but Breddam postures up. Swift is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Breddam wants to control from the top but Swift keeps moving. Breddam stands and steps away. Swift gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Swift closes the distance but Breddam moves to the side and Breddam decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Swift's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breddam trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Swift is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Breddam is controlling him. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Breddam accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Breddam gets to his feet - Swift follows without any prompting. Swift clinches but Breddam breaks the clinch and Breddam counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Swift's guard now. Breddam pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Swift is keeping the position for now. Breddam gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Swift wants to clinch and Breddam counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Breddam avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Swift is looking for a triangle but Breddam pushes his legs off easily.
Swift wants to get back to his feet but Breddam is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Breddam has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Breddam slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Swift has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Breddam off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swift tries to clinch but Breddam moves away and Breddam counters with a takedown into side control. Breddam landing a few strikes. Breddam working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Swift is pushing Breddam's head away, looking to escape. Breddam manages to hold on to the position though. Swift wants to control but Breddam postures up. Swift tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Swift trying to get back to his feet but Breddam is in full control for now. Swift just trying to survive but Breddam is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Breddam is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Swift prevents Breddam from getting a body triangle. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Swift is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Breddam gets his way!
Donald Swift has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Henrik Breddam is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Will Breddam go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
