Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sergeant Major (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukas Bohard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergeant Major! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lukas Bohard! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bohard instigates a clinch. Major goes for a takedown attempt but Bohard pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bohard throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Major was covering up waiting for the punch and Bohard finishes the takedown easily into guard. Bohard is stalling in the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bohard got a little sloppy there for a moment and Major has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bohard has managed to get both his arms back between Major's legs - danger averted. Bohard controls from within his opponent's guard. Bohard is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Major working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bohard has passed into half guard!

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Major has hold of Bohard's hands but Bohard slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Major is looking to improve his position.
Bohard looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bohard thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bohard working the head and body with strikes. Bohard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bohard stalling. Major actively working from the bottom here.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Major is breathing heavily. Bohard clinches. Bohard stalling the fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bohard tightens his grip and picks Major up, before dumping him to the ground. Major manages to land in guard. Bohard content to stall in guard here. Let's hope that Bohard has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Bohard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bohard drives through and clinches with Major against the cage.
Major is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bohard turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bohard manages to end up in side control. Bohard controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bohard working the ground and pound. Bohard has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bohard taking a breather here. Bohard lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bohard in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Major sneaks back into half guard. Bohard not doing much here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bohard is controlling the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Yet more stalling tactics from Bohard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Major tries to pull guard but Bohard forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Bohard lands on the inside with an uppercut. Major is working for a takedown up against the cage. Major tries to pull guard but Bohard won't allow it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Bohard creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Bohard has picked Major up - he's going for a ride! Bohard dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Bohard looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The adventures of Bohard the control monster continue. Boring. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Bohard lands strikes from half guard. Bohard is taking a breather. Major says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Lukas Bohard is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lukas Bohard has got the better of the ground game so far. Major trying to hold on to Bohard's head to control him but Bohard postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bohard moves into the clinch. Lukas Bohard seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Major is trying to pull guard but Bohard turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bohard taking a breather. Bohard gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Major regains guard.
Bohard is stalling in the full guard. Bohard works a leg free and moves into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bohard is thwarting Major's attempts to control the position. Bohard content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Lukas Bohard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bohard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
