Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Leeroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davidson comes to the cage accompanied by August Burns Red - Meridian. Leeroy has chosen Boondocks Theme Song as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dustin Davidson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
43 - 33 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bruce Leeroy! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A bone on bone clash there as Davidson blocks the leg kick.
Davidson blocks a leg kick. An attempted straight right counter from Davidson misses the target. Leeroy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Leeroy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Leeroy misses with a hook to the body
and Davidson counters with a nice uppercut. Davidson lands with a kick to the ribs.
Leeroy misses with a straight right. Leeroy throws a leg kick and Davidson counters with a one-two to the body. Davidson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Leeroy's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Davidson's corner is telling him to maintain position. Davidson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davidson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Leeroy is looking to control Davidson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Leeroy avoid being mounted? Leeroy is looking for a sweep. Davidson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Davidson trying to control the pace.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Davidson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Leeroy but Leeroy pushes him off and we're back to square one. Davidson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Nice takedown defense from Leeroy. No joy for Davidson on that attempt. Davidson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Leeroy throws a leg kick that is checked and Davidson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Leeroy won't be happy with that. Davidson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Leeroy is looking to reverse the position. Davidson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Leeroy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leeroy takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Davidson taking a breather here. Leeroy tries to get back to half guard but can't. Leeroy is being controlled here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Davidson landing strikes. Davidson moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Leeroy tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dustin Davidson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Davidson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Leeroy pinned against the cage. Leeroy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Leeroy finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Leeroy misses with a body punch
and Davidson counters with a crisp one two that drops Leeroy! Davidson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Leeroy to his feet! Leeroy is in big trouble!
Leeroy is rocked! Leeroy throws a hook but Davidson blocks it. Leeroy is still on wobbly legs! Can Davidson finish him? Leeroy walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Davidson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Leeroy throws a sloppy body shot
and Davidson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Leeroy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Davidson lands a body shot. Leeroy takes an elbow to the temple. Davidson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Leeroy uses from the top position. Davidson is controlling Leeroy's posture. Davidson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Davidson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Davidson won't allow Leeroy to sweep him here. Davidson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Davidson controlling the position from side mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leeroy seems to have recovered his senses. Leeroy manages to work his way to half guard, despite Davidson's best efforts. Davidson controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Leeroy is looking to improve his position.
Davidson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Davidson not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davidson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Leeroy attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Leeroy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Davidson is looking to counter with head kicks. Leeroy lunges at Davidson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Davidson's hand. Leeroy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Leeroy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Davidson fails with a takedown attempt. Leeroy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Davidson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Davidson stopping the sweep attempt from Leeroy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davidson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Davidson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dustin Davidson will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Leeroy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Davidson moves out of range of the strikes. The fight stays on the outside here - Davidson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Leeroy tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Davidson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Leeroy is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davidson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Bruce Leeroy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davidson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dustin Davidson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dustin Davidson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Davidson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Leeroy for as long as he can get away with.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Leeroy wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Davidson is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Leeroy has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Leeroy can't escape the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Davidson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Dustin Davidson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Davidson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
