And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tadhg Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin tries to clinch but York moves away

and York counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Griffin wants to sweep here but York controlling him for the moment.
Griffin is looking to stand up but York isn't so interested in that idea.
York controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
York landing with the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Griffin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and York defends well.

York decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Griffin, up you get!
