Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Golden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Golden is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kongos- Come with me now. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Trey Golden was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Trey Golden! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anstey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Golden manages to avoid it. Anstey takes a kick to the side of the head. Golden lands a body shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Anstey.
Golden ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anstey moves away. Anstey checks a leg kick. Anstey scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Golden is trying to maintain the position but Anstey is very close to passing his half guard. Anstey thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Golden's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anstey slips a nice elbow through Golden's hands, connecting with Golden's forehead. Anstey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Golden with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anstey throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Golden is trying to maintain the position but Anstey is very close to passing his half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anstey lands with a punch from half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Golden manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Anstey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Anstey is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Golden manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Anstey manages to get himself to full guard.
Anstey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Golden is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anstey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Anstey wants to work for an arm triangle but Golden is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Golden wants to control but Anstey is keeping busy and won't allow it. Well, if Anstey is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Anstey is nestled in close to Golden, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Anstey wants to take a breather but Golden is having none of it. Anstey throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Anstey not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Anstey is thwarting Golden's attempts to control the position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Anstey missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Golden is looking for a sweep. Anstey is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are battling for position here. Golden manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Anstey looking to pass the guard. Anstey wants to control from the top but Golden keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anstey stopping the sweep attempt from Golden. Golden has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Golden keeping moving, preventing Anstey from controlling successfully. Golden utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Anstey landing some decent shots from guard. Anstey scoring with some ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Golden is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Golden won't allow Anstey to sweep him here. Golden looking to sit in guard and control but Anstey gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Golden trying to strike off his back.
Golden looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Anstey postures up in Golden's guard and throws a big left but Golden blocks it. Anstey trying to control the position from guard on top but Golden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Golden had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Anstey defends it easily. Anstey content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Corwin Anstey dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Anstey closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Golden quickly recovers to half guard. Anstey looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Golden manages to get to full guard.
Golden is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Anstey throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Golden has momentary wrist control but Anstey slips an elbow through the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Golden has his foot on Anstey's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Anstey works his way back into a safe position though. Golden looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Anstey works over Golden with some ground and pound from guard. Corwin Anstey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Anstey makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Anstey's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Golden is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Anstey defends well. Anstey landing with the ground and pound. Golden wants to sweep here but Anstey controlling him for the moment. Golden keeping moving, preventing Anstey from controlling successfully. Golden is trying to control the position but Anstey postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Golden wants to hit a switch here but Anstey passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Golden there! Golden tries to hold on but Anstey pushes him away. Anstey lands a heavy elbow. Anstey looking to secure an arm triangle but Golden defends it well. Anstey looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Anstey is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Golden can do to turn this around? Anstey avoids the attempt from Golden to control. Anstey with the ground and pound from mount.

Golden is trying to escape the mount.
Golden tries to hold on but Anstey postures up. Anstey lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Golden is rocked! Anstey postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Golden in real trouble here! The ref calls for Golden to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Corwin Anstey! A less than humble Corwin Anstey misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
