Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Dangtran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deshawn Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dangtran comes to the cage accompanied by Get Ready for This - 2Unlimited. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Dangtran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Deshawn Shaw! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaw throws a leg kick and Dangtran counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dangtran. Dangtran slips nicely into half guard. Dangtran is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Shaw defends it well. Dangtran controlling the action here. Dangtran is keen to just control but Shaw is a slippery customer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dangtran looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dangtran trying to mount his opponent but Shaw defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Shaw tries to get to full guard but Dangtran has control of the leg. Shaw is trying to maintain the position but Dangtran is very close to passing his half guard. Dangtran not doing much here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Shaw is trying to control but Dangtran manages to pass to mount!
Shaw is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Shaw is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Shaw is squirming around, avoiding Dangtran's attempts to control the action. Shaw wants to hold on but Dangtran pushes him away. Shaw trying desperately to get to his feet.
Dangtran controlling the pace for now. Dangtran is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Shaw has managed to escape the submission attempt.
A nice elbow there by Dangtran. Shaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dangtran. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dangtran is in the full mount, landing strikes. Dangtran sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Shaw in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Shaw tries to improve his position but Dangtran has taken his back! Dangtran has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Shaw tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Dangtran pushes Shaw away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Joe Dangtran! Joe Dangtran seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
