Gracie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Broke & Hungry . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie blocks a head kick by Bonney.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bonney bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Mateus Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bonney misses with a kick to the body.
Gracie tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bonney as he jumps to the side.
Bonney is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.
Bonney lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gracie will feel that in the morning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A looping hook to the body misses from Gracie. Bonney does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gracie throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Nice body kick there by Gracie.
Gracie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gracie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gracie tries a head kick but it misses.
Gracie jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Gracie is looking to chop away at Bonney's legs.
And Bonney counters with a quick kick to the body but Gracie blocks it.
Bonney is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gracie fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bonney.
Gracie throws a body shot but no joy.
Bonney lands with a nice body kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gracie lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bonney has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bonney and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bonney throws a quick counter kick to the body but Gracie avoids it.
Bonney scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Gracie checks a low kick from Bonney.
A good leg kick by Gracie.
Bonney lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gracie backs up against the cage.

It looks like Mateus Gracie has been cut.
Gracie has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bonney.

Bonney lands a big right hand that sends Gracie crashing to the mat! Bonney stays standing though and waves Gracie back to his feet!

Gracie is rocked!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bonney drives through and clinches with Gracie against the cage.
Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Bonney finish him?
Bonney throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gracies head.
Bonney pushes Gracie against the cage. Bonney is working some dirty boxing. Bonney pushes off with a quick right hook! Gracie goes down! Gracie tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Bonney moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Henry Bonney!

In his post fight interview, William Henry Bonney gave a big smile as he said 'Norman, I told you I would make you famous! But unfortunately for you it means I took your belt! Broken Halo Pride!'.
In defeat, Mateus Gracie stepped up to the mic, saying 'Oh man will this mean another damn thread...'.
