The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steiner misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Garcilazo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Steiner lands with a straight right. Garcilazo didn't see that one coming.
Garcilazo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Garcilazo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Steiner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A jab from Garcilazo misses.
Steiner throws a hook but Garcilazo avoids it easily.
Steiner throws a shot from downtown. Garcilazo moves away and avoids it.
Steiner misses with a straight right.
Steiner shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garcilazo sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Steiner to the ground! Garcilazo dives into full mount looking to finish!
It looks like Alex Steiner has been cut.

Steiner is trying desperately to improve position.
Steiner wants to control but Garcilazo is having none of it.

Garcilazo looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Steiner covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Marty Garcilazo decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
