Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Diamond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrice Sagna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sagna has chosen Booba - Boulbi as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Diamond! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Patrice Sagna! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Diamond misses. Diamond looks to land a combination but Sagna avoids it well. Sagna fails to land the takedown. Nice takedown defense from Diamond. No joy for Sagna on that attempt. Sagna misses with a takedown attempt - Diamond sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jack Diamond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrice Sagna. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diamond misses with a two punch combination.
Sagna takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sagna looks for a takedown but Diamond sprawls well. Sagna shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Diamond as he jumps to the side. Diamond throws a right and a left that both miss. Diamond stuffs the takedown attempt from Sagna. Sagna gets slowly back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sagna fails with an attempt to clinch.
Diamond tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Diamond tries to bum rush Sagna with a series of wild strikes but Sagna uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Diamond throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sagna shoots in for a takedown but Diamond shows good takedown defense. Diamond lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sagna circles away quickly and effectively.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sagna misses with a takedown attempt - Diamond sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sagna tries for a takedown but Diamond sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Diamond throws a series of strikes that have Sagna backpedaling.
Sagna shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diamond as he avoids it easily. Sagna looks for a takedown but Diamond sprawls well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Diamond stuffs the takedown. Sagna looks gassed! Diamond scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Diamond misses with a few strikes there.
Diamond closes the distance looking to clinch and Sagna counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Diamond! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Diamond dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sagna fails with the takedown. Diamond tries to bum rush Sagna with a series of wild strikes but Sagna uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sagna fails to land the takedown. Diamond throws a combination that misses and Sagna holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sagna decides to pull guard. Sagna looking for a sweep. Not yet Sagna, not yet.

Sagna has his foot on Diamond's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diamond works his way back into a safe position though. Sagna is breathing heavily. Diamond wants to stand but Sagna has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Sagna wants to sweep but no luck. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sagna holds on and takes a little breather.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Diamond stands up and waves to Sagna to follow him. Sagna shoots in looking for a takedown. Diamond tries to sprawl out of it but Sagna keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diamond manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jack Diamond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrice Sagna. Diamond misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sagna closes this distance looking for a takedown but Diamond circles away. Diamond throws a combination that misses and Sagna decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Diamond's guard. Diamond is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sagna is controlling him. Sagna throwing strikes but missing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sagna postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sagna looking to sit in guard and control but Diamond gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sagna looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Patrice Sagna showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

so Sagna counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sagna trying to control the position from guard on top but Diamond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sagna looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sagna trying to control but Diamond is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diamond wants to get back to his feet but Sagna is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Diamond knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sagna on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Diamond keeping moving, preventing Sagna from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sagna trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sagna stands and throws Diamond's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sagna trying to control the position but Diamond is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sagna wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Diamond, who protects the arm well. Sagna takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sagna is looking to take a break and control but Diamond is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Despite being in the dominant position, Patrice Sagna just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sagna throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Diamond counters with a one-two to the body.
It looks like Patrice Sagna has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sagna thows a left - swing and a miss! Diamond scores with a three punch combo!
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Sagna closes this distance looking for a takedown but Diamond circles away. Diamond fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Diamond throws a nice looking combination but Sagna bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sagna with a poor takedown and Diamond counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Diamond showed his dominance in that final round. I think Diamond has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
