Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Teiden Ritari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Kicker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teiden Ritari could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to James Kicker's chin.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, James Kicker! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kicker takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Ritari tries to clinch but Kicker moves out of range. Kicker is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Ritari with a body shot. Ritari tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Kicker counters with a lovely shot to the body. A left lands for Kicker. Ritari seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Ritari lands a big head kick that sends Kicker tumbling to the mat! Ritari takes a step backwards and waves Kicker back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kicker is rocked!
It looks like James Kicker has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A jab from Kicker misses. Ritari seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Kicker is still on wobbly legs! Can Ritari finish him? Kicker moves out of range of the body kick from Ritari.
Kicker misses the jab. Kicker seems to have recovered his senses. Kicker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Kicker. Ritari blocking some punches.

Kicker is looking to control Ritari's arms but Ritari gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kicker has his back to the cage. Ritari tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kicker avoids it. Kicker is trying to maintain a safe position but Ritari gets an underhook and turns Kicker into the cage. Ritari throws an elbow that misses.
Ritari works on Kicker's body with a couple of short punches. Ritari lands an elbow just above Kicker 's eye. Ritari lands a damaging elbow. Kicker takes a knee right on the jaw!

Ritari lands a hook that snaps the head of Kicker backwards. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ritari using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kicker has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Teiden Ritari dominated that round. The cut man is working on James Kicker's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kicker moves forwards but Ritari connects with a nice, crisp jab. Ritari throws a wild body kick that Kicker sees coming a mile off. Ritari scores with a shot to the body.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Ritari! Kicker is out on his feet! Ritari rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Kicker is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Kicker is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Teiden Ritari! Teiden Ritari retains his welterweight title! An out of breath Teiden Ritari thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
