Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Isaac Rutledge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ali Rizgar Gun!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gun closes the distance and pushes Rutledge back into the cage.
Gun tightens his grip and picks Rutledge up, before dumping him to the ground. Rutledge manages to land in guard.
Rutledge escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gun gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Rutledge controls Gun momentarily but Gun frees himself.
Gun's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Gun is working Rutledge over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Rutledge can't keep his opponent in guard - Gun advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Rutledge really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rutledge is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gun looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Rutledge misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Well, if Gun is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rutledge on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gun connects with a nice short shot to Rutledge's temple.
Gun has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rutledge looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Gun pushes past his half guard into mount!
Gun sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Gun lands a heavy elbow.
Gun looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Rutledge covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
