The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Torres.
Tunney bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Tunney is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Tunney is trying to get an arm triangle but Torres is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tunney decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Tunney misses with a kick to the body
and Torres counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Tunney looking to hit a scissor sweep but Torres is one step ahead there.
Tunney pulls Torres in close to prevent any damage.
Tunney is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Tunney is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Torres is posturing up here but Tunney has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Torres tries to roll out but it's too tight and Torres has to tap! Slick submission there by Tunney!
