Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Vale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirks Lazarus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vale comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead-Iron Fist . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon Vale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kirks Lazarus! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vale just misses with a punch to the body.
Lazarus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vale, pushing him back against the cage. Vale breaks the clinch.
Vale gets tackled into the cage by Lazarus. Lazarus maintains the clinch. Vale misses with a punch to the body.
Vale tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Vale working some nice short punches in the clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Lazarus obliges. Lazarus pressing his opponent against the cage. Lazarus blocks an uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Vale creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Vale is trying to force a seperation but Lazarus has the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lazarus scores with a shoulder strike. Lazarus is trying to stall.
Lazarus trying to control the position but instead, Vale has worked for underhooks and has pushed Lazarus into the cage. Lazarus is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Vale has denied him. Lazarus pushes Vale back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lazarus doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Vale takes a knee to the side of the body. Lazarus leaning his opponent against the cage. Lazarus is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Vale is breathing heavily. Vale lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Lazarus lands a nice shot to the body. Vale pushes Lazarus back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Vale has had enough of the clinch but Lazarus keeps him there for the moment. Lazarus holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Lazarus taking a breather. Vale drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lazarus pulls his leg out and moves away.
Vale looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Lazarus with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lazarus pushes Vale up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Vale. Vale working aggressively here.
Vale wants to break the clinch but can't.
A knee to the head by Lazarus.
It looks like Simon Vale has been cut. Lazarus lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lazarus takes a shot to the head. Lazarus dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. A knee to the head by Lazarus.
Lazarus keeps control of Vale as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Knees in the clinch landing for Lazarus.
Vale fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Lazarus doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Vale misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lazarus is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Lazarus scores with a shot to the side of Vale's head. Vale swings wildly with an uppercut but Lazarus uses good head movement to avoid it. A head punch on the inside from Vale fails to land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lazarus misses with a body punch.
Vale blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Vale avoiding damage as Lazarus throws knees to the body.
Vale wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Vale breaks from the clinch.
Lazarus feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Vale's calf. Lazarus swings widly with a right hand
and Vale counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Vale scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Lazarus is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Vale's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Vale thows a huge punch but Lazarus dodges it nicely.
Vale prevents Lazarus from improving his position. Vale knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lazarus on the ground. The fighters are battling for position here. Lazarus manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Lazarus working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Vale. Lazarus looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vale controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lazarus avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Vale trying to control but Lazarus is working from the bottom. Vale not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Lazarus has his feet on Vale's thighs here. He's pushed Vale off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Vale screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
