Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nir Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaan Jalgratas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nir Sosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jaan Jalgratas! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jalgratas misses with a wild body shot. Sosa half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. A head kick by Jalgratas misses and Sosa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jalgratas has his hands on Sosa's head, controlling the position. Sosa stopping the sweep attempt from Jalgratas. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jalgratas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sosa is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jalgratas wants to sweep here but Sosa controlling him for the moment. Jalgratas is trying to control the position but Sosa postures up. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Jalgratas seems keen to control Sosa's posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jalgratas throws a head kick but Sosa moves out of range.
Sosa half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Jalgratas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sosa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jalgratas tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sosa moves out of range as Jalgratas throws a body kick.
Sosa tries to counter with a takedown but Jalgratas is quick to defend against it. We've been informed that Jalgratas has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Jalgratas throws a sloppy head kick and Sosa counters with a shoot takedown. Jalgratas fights it but they end up in guard. Jalgratas is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jalgratas looking for a sweep. Not yet Jalgratas, not yet. Jalgratas keeps trying to improve his position. Jalgratas trying to control the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Jalgratas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sosa is one step ahead there.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Jalgratas thows a leg kick but Sosa checks it and Sosa counters with a single leg into guard. Jalgratas didn't expect that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jalgratas is striking off his back. Sosa thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Jalgratas is trying to maintain the position but Sosa is very close to passing his half guard. Jalgratas is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Sosa jumps into side control! Jalgratas is trying to get back to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sosa staying calm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nir Sosa dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jalgratas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sosa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jalgratas. Sosa appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Jalgratas thows a leg kick but Sosa checks it and Sosa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sosa. Jalgratas wants to improve his position but instead Sosa has moved into half guard.
Jalgratas tries to get to full guard but Sosa has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jalgratas has a hand on Sosa's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Sosa takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Jalgratas tries to hold on but Sosa postures up. Nir Sosa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jalgratas is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Sosa is staying active. Jalgratas keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jalgratas is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jalgratas tries to hold on but Sosa postures up. Sosa controlling from mount. Sosa seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jalgratas for as long as he can get away with. Sosa wants to control the pace but Jalgratas is squirming around nicely. Sosa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jalgratas can do to turn this around?

Nir Sosa dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Sosa feinted with a counter takedown. Jalgratas throws a head kick that misses. Sosa drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jalgratas sprawls and moves away. Jalgratas finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Jalgratas wants to control but Sosa is having none of it. Jalgratas sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Jalgratas is trying to control but can't.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sosa is not going to allow Jalgratas to sit and survive in this position. Sosa is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

And that's the end of the fight! Nir Sosa showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sosa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
