Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jefferson Hewitt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nelson Key! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jefferson Hewitt! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hewitt clinches up against the cage. Hewitt keeps control of Key as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Hewitt tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Key wants the takedown. Hewitt is fighting it off but Key persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hewitt's guard against the cage. Hewitt wants to get back to his feet but Key passes into half guard.
Hewitt is looking to escape. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Key in particular looking to stall. Key decides to stand and escape the position. Hewitt has taken the fight to the clinch.
Key has had enough of the clinch but Hewitt keeps him there for the moment. Hewitt swings wildly with an uppercut but Key uses good head movement to avoid it. Hewitt lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Hewitt fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Key could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short right hand to the side of the head by Hewitt. Hewitt lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Key. Key tightens his grip and picks Hewitt up, before dumping him to the ground. Hewitt manages to land in guard. Hewitt is wriggling around but Key manages to pass to half guard.
Hewitt has hold of Key's hands but Key slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Key is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hewitt pushes Key off, looking to escape but Key dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Hewitt is forced to tap! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nelson Key!
