Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corey Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Calderon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by The House of The Rising Sun - The Animals. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Corey Parker! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Felipe Calderon! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calderon drops his hands momentarily and Parker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Parker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Calderon misses with a head kick.
Parker is looking to counter the offense by Calderon and move into the clinch. Calderon looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Calderon prevents Parker from standing back up.
Calderon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Calderon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Parker's head. Parker pushes Calderon off looking to stand but Calderon dives back in and keeps control.
Calderon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Parker is just riding it out for now. Calderon eventually gives up the hold. Calderon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Parker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calderon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Calderon wants to pass to mount but Parker is defending the position. Calderon thows a huge punch but Parker dodges it nicely.
Calderon is looking to advance position but Parker won't allow it. Calderon is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Calderon throwing shots but Parker is blocking nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Calderon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Calderon moves nicely into side control. Calderon lands a few punches from side control. Calderon is trying to get an arm triangle but Parker is defending well. Calderon swings around for an armbar but Parker sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Calderon's guard. Calderon throws his legs up looking for a submission but Parker uses it to pass to side control.
Calderon is looking to regain half guard here but Parker keeps moving and retains side control. Parker wants to stand but Calderon is controlling his arm. Calderon sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Parker wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Calderon is trying to get back to full guard. Calderon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Parker pulls his head out easily. Calderon looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Parker wants to stand but Calderon has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Calderon wants to get back to full guard. Calderon actively working from the bottom here. Calderon is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Parker tries to stand but can't do so whilst Calderon controls his leg. Calderon is looking to improve his position.
Calderon looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Calderon tries to roll over but Parker keeps him under control. Parker wants to get back to his feet.
Calderon works his way to full guard. Good work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Parker wanted to stand there but Calderon had control of the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felipe Calderon dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Calderon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Parker moves into the clinch. Parker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A clash of legs there as Parker blocks the low kick. Parker swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Calderon misses with a head kick.
Parker takes a kick to the side of the head. Calderon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Parker finds it's way round the side to connect with Calderon's head. Parker avoids the head kick by Calderon.
Parker is looking to counter the offense by Calderon and move into the clinch. Calderon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Calderon misses with a takedown and Parker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Calderon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Calderon dives in for a single leg takedown but Parker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Parker feinted with a counter takedown. Corey Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felipe Calderon. Calderon throws a right hand that Parker ducks under and follows up with a left that Parker also avoids with ease. Calderon with a poor takedown and Parker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Calderon is breathing heavily. No luck for Calderon with that takedown attempt. Parker half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Calderon misses with a right hand and Parker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Calderon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Parker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Calderon. As Calderon tries to get set, Parker tries to push him back and clinch up but Calderon manages to avoid the attempt. Parker scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Parker tries to stand but Calderon is controlling his head. Parker decides to stand up, so the ref orders Calderon to his feet. Parker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Calderon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No luck for Calderon with that takedown attempt. Calderon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Parker can pounce on him.
A low kick from Calderon is predictable there and Parker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Calderon throws a hook but Parker blocks it. Parker wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Calderon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Parker but Parker pushes him off and we're back to square one. Calderon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Parker half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Parker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker wants to clinch. Felipe Calderon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Calderon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Parker counters with a single leg into guard. Calderon didn't expect that. Calderon working for a triangle but Parker defends it easily.
Parker is looking to stand up but Calderon won't let him. Parker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Calderon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Parker has managed to get both his arms back between Calderon's legs - danger averted. Calderon working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Parker has passed into half guard!

Corey Parker dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Parker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Calderon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Calderon moves into range and connects with a jab. Calderon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Parker did well to prevent Calderon getting side control. Calderon is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Parker to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Calderon won't allow Parker to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Calderon throws a big right hand that misses. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fighters circle momentarily. Calderon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Calderon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Parker sees it coming and avoids it easily. Jab from Calderon. Calderon throws a left and a right that both miss
and Parker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Calderon misses with a head kick.
Parker tries to counter by clinching up but Calderon breaks away and moves out of range. Parker lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Corey Parker is winning the standup battle so far. Calderon throws a hook but Parker avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Calderon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Calderon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Parker dives in and scores a takedown into Calderon's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Parker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Calderon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Parker is aware though and is defending well. Parker preventing the sweep. Parker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Calderon is proving hard to escape from. Calderon is looking for a triangle here but Parker uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Parker has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Calderon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Parker circles away quickly and effectively. Parker tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Calderon manages to circle out of the way. Parker wanted to stand there but Calderon had control of the position. Calderon looking for a triangle here. Parker is fighting it but it looks tight! Calderon pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Parker is tapping out - this one is all over!
