Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyrone Badass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Karter!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karter keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Karter avoids the head kick by Badass.
A countering left hand to the body from Karter misses.
Karter slips a jab from Badass.
Badass dodges the punch combination from Karter.
Karter misses with a two punch combination.
Badass throws a push kick but Karter slaps the foot to one side.
Karter tries a quick counter leg kick but Badass is wise to it.
Tyrone Badass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Karter misses its intended target.
A quick step to the side and Badass tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Badass dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Karter. That did some damage!
Badass moves out of range of the strikes.
Karter checks a low kick from Badass.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Badass looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Karter throws a right and a left that Badass avoids nicely.
Good work by Karter as he checks the leg kick.
Badass fails in his attempt to clinch.
Karter cracks Badass with a good jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Karter looks to land a right hand but Badass moved out of range.
Badass's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Karter connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Badass scrambles back to his feet.
Karter on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Badass. Badass obviously looking to wear him down.
Chris Karter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Badass throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Karter's waist but Karter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Badass off to one side.
Karter connects with a single shot there.
Karter cracks Badass with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Badass tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Karter pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Badass is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Karter!
Chris Karter made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I piss excellence!'.
