The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Allen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

enabling Westlund to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Loke Westlund has been cut.
Allen throws a head kick that half lands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We've been informed that Westlund has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Allen wants to clinch up but Westlund keeps it at a distance.
Allen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Allen looks for the body kick but Westlund saw that one coming.
Allen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Allen goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Westlund moves out of range of the leg kick from Allen.
Allen throws a looping overhand right but Westlund ducks down to avoid it.

Allen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Westlund manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A slow jab from Westlund misses its intended target.
Allen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Allen moves away from the strike by Westlund.
Westlund throws an overhand right that lands on Allen's shoulder, as Allen tries to avoid the shot.
Allen connects with a solid leg kick.
Westlund takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Allen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Westlund counters with a series of strikes. Allen will be more careful next time no doubt.

Allen is rocked!
Westlund ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Allen out cold! The fight is over!
