Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dorsey Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Vakhula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dorsey Randolph! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Vakhula! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Randolph shoots for a takedown but Vakhula saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. As Randolph backs off Vakhula throws a huge counter combo but Randolph manages to avoid it all. Nice sprawl there from Vakhula as Randolph shoots in. Vakhula is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Randolph's half guard. Vakhula not doing much here.
Vakhula trying to mount his opponent but Randolph defends it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vakhula sitting and controlling from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Randolph tries to kick Vakhula off but Vakhula keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randolph won't allow Vakhula to pass to mount. Randolph wants to get back to his feet. Randolph misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Vakhula is figuring out what he wants to do next. It looks like Vakhula might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Randolph looks like he's trying to stand up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Randolph fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dorsey Randolph. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vakhula shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Randolph manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Randolph is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vakhula is aware though and is defending well. Vakhula slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Randolph really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Randolph wants to get back to his feet but Vakhula is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Randolph trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Randolph wants to stand and escape but Vakhula is having none of it. Vakhula trying to control the position from guard on top but Randolph is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vakhula with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randolph wants to stand up but Vakhula is controlling him. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Vakhula trying to control but Randolph is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vakhula is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Vakhula is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Let's hope that Vakhula has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Randolph pushes Vakhula off and gets back to his feet.

Randolph shoots in looking for a takedown but Vakhula manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Randolph's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Randolph shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vakhula defends it nicely. Randolph is breathing heavily. Randolph shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Randolph looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Vakhula wants to counter the offense by Randolph and move into the clinch position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Igor Vakhula dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Vakhula closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Randolph's guard. Vakhula working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Randolph throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Randolph is rocked! Vakhula is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Oh Randolph is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Vakhula's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Vakhula is continuing to stall. Randolph throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Randolph seems to have got his legs back now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vakhula is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vakhula thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Randolph looking to hit a scissor sweep but Vakhula is one step ahead there. Randolph keeping moving, preventing Vakhula from controlling successfully. Vakhula sitting in guard, not really doing much. Randolph wants to get back to his feet but Vakhula is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Randolph being controlled here, momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Randolph is looking for a triangle but Vakhula pushes his legs off easily.
Randolph wants to stand up but Vakhula is controlling him.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Randolph tries for a takedown but Vakhula circles away easily and Vakhula counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vakhula wants to take the fight to the mat but Randolph manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Vakhula tries to pull guard but Randolph won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randolph has had enough of the clinch but Vakhula keeps him there for the moment. Vakhula turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Vakhula manages to end up in side control. Randolph is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Randolph is not content to let Vakhula control the position. Randolph wants to get back to his feet but Vakhula drags him back down. Vakhula trying to control the position but Randolph is working away. Vakhula controls the position from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Randolph is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vakhula has just dragged him back down to the mat. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Vakhula wants to lay and pray for a moment but Randolph keeps working.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Randolph shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Vakhula connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Randolph shoots in and gets a takedown into Vakhula's guard. Igor Vakhula has got the better of the ground game so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Vakhula pulls Randolph in close to prevent any damage. Randolph wants to stand and escape but instead Vakhula has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Igor Vakhula showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Vakhula's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Randolph shoots in but Vakhula avoids the takedown attempt easily. Vakhula looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vakhula looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Randolph! Vakhula tries to advance to mount but can't. Randolph is looking for a sweep. Vakhula has knee on belly and moves into mount. Randolph trying desperately to get to his feet.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Randolph keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dorsey Randolph has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Igor Vakhula is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Randolph is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
And that's the end of the fight! Igor Vakhula comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Vakhula has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
