Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Miyoshi Kazuhide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikael Sankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kazuhide might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 'Samurai' by Shurik'n. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miyoshi Kazuhide! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikael Sankari! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sankari keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kazuhide. Miyoshi Kazuhide seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sankari closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kazuhide circles away. Sankari darts in and clinches Kazuhide up against the ropes. Sankari wants a takedown but no success here.
Kazuhide escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sankari wants to clinch up but Kazuhide keeps it at a distance. Sankari staying out of range there. Sankari takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sankari slips a jab and a cross from Kazuhide.
Sankari slips under a jab. Sankari shoots in and bounces Kazuhide off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. Kazuhide tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kazuhide is looking for a triangle here but Sankari uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Kazuhide gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kazuhide is trying to maintain the position but Sankari is very close to passing his half guard. Kazuhide is doing well to control the position and prevent Sankari from advancing to side control. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Kazuhide wants to improve his position but Sankari is controlling well.
Sankari is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Kazuhide is not content to let Sankari control the position. Kazuhide on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kazuhide tries to get out of the position. Kazuhide wants to control the action here but instead Sankari manages to pass to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kazuhide can't escape the position.
Kazuhide is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Sankari is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kazuhide is surviving well by controlling Sankari's body position as best he can. Kazuhide holds of for dear life. Sankari wants to control the pace but Kazuhide is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sankari controlling his opponent. Kazuhide really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kazuhide sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Kazuhide throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Kazuhide tries to roll over but Sankari keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sankari trying to control from half guard but Kazuhide is working away. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kazuhide trying to control but Sankari postures up.
Sankari wants to get back to his feet.
Kazuhide is not content to let Sankari control the position. Kazuhide has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sankari is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Miyoshi Kazuhide will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Kazuhide scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kazuhide lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Nice uppercut lands for Kazuhide. That snapped Sankari's head back.
Kazuhide looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Sankari blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kazuhide. Kazuhide throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kazuhide sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sankari defending well though. Sankari wants to control but Kazuhide is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kazuhide lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Kazuhide throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Sankari tries to get to full guard but Kazuhide has control of the leg. Kazuhide working Sankari over with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kazuhide lands strikes from half guard. Kazuhide thows a huge punch but Sankari dodges it nicely.
Kazuhide throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kazuhide slips a nice elbow through Sankari's hands, connecting with Sankari's forehead. Sankari has a hand on Kazuhide's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Kazuhide takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Kazuhide has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kazuhide lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Sankari hang on? Sankari is breathing heavily. Kazuhide scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Sankari tries to hold on but Kazuhide postures up. Kazuhide looking to control and managing it successfully.

Kazuhide is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sankari has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sankari! Sankari content to stall in guard here. Sankari preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kazuhide bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sankari's guard. Kazuhide is in close to Sankari's body, working some short punches and elbows. Kazuhide missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kazuhide landing some decent shots from guard. Kazuhide has gone for a leg lock! Sankari slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kazuhide's guard. Sankari's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miyoshi Kazuhide dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Sankari smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Kazuhide misses with a hook. Mikael Sankari is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sankari shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kazuhide as he avoids it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sankari. Nice takedown defense from Kazuhide. No joy for Sankari on that attempt. Miyoshi Kazuhide has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikael Sankari. Kazuhide keeps the fight on the outside. Sankari throws a head kick but Kazuhide moves out of range.
Kazuhide fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sankari sprawls well initially but Kazuhide persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sankari keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kazuhide wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sankari keeps working. Kazuhide not landing any meaningful shots this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kazuhide slips a nice elbow through Sankari's hands, connecting with Sankari's forehead.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nice strikes from Kazuhide there. Kazuhide trying to pass the guard but Sankari defending well. Kazuhide is looking for a kimura here.
Kazuhide slows the pace down in half guard. Sankari is staying active underneath Kazuhide, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sankari is trying to get back to full guard. Kazuhide trying to mount his opponent but Sankari defends it. Sankari slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sankari trying to keep a closed guard but Kazuhide is proving a slippery customer.
Miyoshi Kazuhide is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kazuhide not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Mikael Sankari has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kazuhide has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kazuhide trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! Miyoshi Kazuhide showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kazuhide, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
