Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Buckets (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is NWO Wolfpack. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bobby Buckets! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James throws a body shot but no joy. James throws a head kick that misses. Buckets looks to score with a jab to the body but James is just out of range. Buckets keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from James. Buckets throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Buckets stuffs the takedown. James lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Bobby Buckets has been cut. Decent striking displayed by James there. A swing and a miss from James. James backing away here, and Buckets unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Buckets bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Buckets's waist but Buckets gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side. Buckets keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
James throws a right and a left that both miss. James throws a head kick that Buckets semi-blocks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! James takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Buckets takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Buckets sizes up James with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. James fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy James. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Buckets connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed James momentarily.
James closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Buckets did well to prevent James getting side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Buckets with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Buckets is trying to maintain the position but James is very close to passing his half guard. James is trying to control the action in half guard but Buckets is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Buckets wants to get back to full guard. James is stalling here. Buckets is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! James seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Buckets has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Buckets grinds an elbow into James's temple. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! James tries to improve position but can't. James manages to work his way to half guard, despite Buckets's best efforts. We've been hearing good reports from James's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. James is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James keeps control of the position for the meantime. James wants to improve his position but Buckets is controlling well.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. James wants to get back to full guard. Buckets lands with a punch from half guard. James moves into full guard.
James wants to sweep but no luck. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as James holds on and takes a little breather. James is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Buckets is trying to defend against the ground and pound but James scores with a couple of nice shots. James takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. James prevents Buckets from improving his position. Buckets is pressing down on James's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James wants to control from the top but Buckets keeps moving. James stands up over Buckets, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. James trying to control the position from guard on top but Buckets is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. James with a nice head shot there. James scoring with some ground and pound. James missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. James wants to control from the top but Buckets keeps moving. James preventing the sweep. Buckets is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst James is controlling him. That's four minutes gone in the round. James in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Buckets manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Buckets throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Buckets throws a quick inside leg kick. James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Buckets moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bobby Buckets is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. James moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. This has been an exciting period of action! Buckets ducks down and throws a hook to the body but James moves away. Buckets avoids the head kick by James.
James moves forwards but Buckets connects with a nice, crisp jab. Buckets stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Buckets wants it to stay on the feet. James looks to score with a jab to the body but Buckets is just out of range. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Buckets.
Buckets throws a push kick but James slaps the foot to one side. James decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Buckets kicks James off and gets back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bobby Buckets will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Bobby Buckets's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Buckets stuns James with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Buckets lands with a nice combination. James backs away looking to recover. James works over Buckets with some ground and pound from guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. James is looking to work some ground and pound but Buckets has wrist control. James postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. James is rocked! Buckets scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Oh James is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. James walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Buckets! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
