Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pinezka.
Pinezka lands a head shot.
It looks like Deait Shaw has been cut.
Pinezka lands a body shot.
Pinezka clobbers Shaw with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Pinezka misses with a body punch
and Shaw counters by clinching up.
Shaw keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pinezka's efforts to push away.
Shaw is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Pinezka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shaw manages to avoid it.
Shaw tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Pinezka misses with an uppercut.
Shaw throws a big counter head kick but Pinezka avoids it with no problem.
Shaw takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Pinezka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shaw slips under a jab.
Shaw looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pinezka is fending him off so far but Shaw persists. Nope, Pinezka circles away and we're back to standing.
Shaw uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pinezka.
Pinezka swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shaw.
Shaw shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pinezka defends it nicely.
Pinezka throws a jab but it's blocked by Shaw.
Shaw with the counter takedown but Pinezka avoids it easily.
Shaw lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Artur Pinezka has been cut.
Pinezka looks to land a left hand but Shaw moved out of range nicely.
Pinezka is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Pinezka jabs Shaw right on the nose. Shaw blinks but takes it well.

A jab from Pinezka finds it's way through Shaw's defenses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pinezka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Shaw is looking for the big counter here.
Shaw ducks under a wild hook from Pinezka.
Shaw lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Pinezka misses with an uppercut.
A telegraphed right hand from Pinezka misses the target.
Shaw tries to counter with a clinch but Pinezka shakes him off and moves away.
Nice body punch from Pinezka.
Shaw shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pinezka pinned against the cage. Pinezka gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Artur Pinezka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Deait Shaw.

and Shaw counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shaw connects with a nice short shot to Pinezka's temple.

Artur Pinezka's cut is getting worse.

Shaw lands a big elbow - Pinezka is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Shaw!

Deait Shaw very nearly forgot to thank Sully's Bar & Grill amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
