The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dippe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Gunner is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Gunner goes for a takedown attempt but Dippe pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dippe fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gunner fails to land the takedown.
Alexander Dippe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Gunner.
Gunner shoots in for a takedown but Dippe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dippe moves into the clinch.
Gunner turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Gunner has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dippe is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Gunner yanks on the arm and Dippe is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Gunner.
