Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Walton Shepard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makwan Lak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lak clinches with his opponent.
Lak has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Shepard uses from the top position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lak is on top in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shepard has the hooks in. Lak is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Shepard lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Lak is taking damage to the body and head.
I really don't envy Lak right now.

Lak shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shepard's guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Shepard manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Lak has picked Shepard up - he's going for a ride! Lak dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Lak has his foot on Shepard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Shepard works his way back into a safe position though.

Lak shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lak was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shepard, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
