PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geraldo Sweeney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damain Miasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miasa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sweeney sprawls well. Sweeney wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miasa gets slowly back to his feet.

Miasa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sweeney is looking for a sweep. Miasa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Horrible takedown attempt by Miasa or perhaps it was just good defense by Sweeney, which made it look bad.
