The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cricket is looking to slow Banget down with leg kicks.
Cricket scores with a hook to the body. Banget takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cricket connects with a single shot there.
Banget looks for a takedown but Cricket sprawls well.
Banget misses with a body shot.
Cricket tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Banget manages to circle out of the way.
Cricket uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Banget with a lazy takedown attempt
and Cricket counters with a straight right hand.
Cricket dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cricket lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Banget takes a jab right on the kisser.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cricket throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Banget stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Banget looks winded!
Cricket lands an overhand right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cricket darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
BOOM! Cricket lands a beautiful left hook that drops Banget. Banget tries to recover but Cricket is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Banget lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Cricket!
Rick Cricket decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
