Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fox Mulder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fox Mulder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Jr! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Dean Styles and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mulder's waist but Mulder gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jr off to one side. Mulder has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mulder sprawls well. Mulder wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jr gets slowly back to his feet. Mulder just misses with a punch to the body.
Jr throws a hook but Mulder blocks it. Mulder pushes Jr up against the cage in a clinch. Jr is trying to drag Mulder to the mat but Mulder just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Fox Mulder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Jr. A nice right hand lands inside from Mulder. Mulder has Jr pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mulder prevents the takedown attempt.

Jr is looking to take this one to the mat. Jr lands with a light punch inside. Mulder lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jr backwards. A short right from Mulder on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short right hand to the side of the head by Mulder. Mulder utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Jr drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mulder pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mulder fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jr, pushing him back against the cage. Mulder using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Mulder lands a damaging elbow. Mulder is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Jr looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A short right from Mulder on the inside. Mulder working some nice short punches in the clinch. Mulder lands an uppercut. A short right hand to the side of the head by Mulder. Mulder lands a nice elbow. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jr.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mulder scores with a shot to the side of Jr's head. Nice elbow from Mulder. Mulder controlling the action here for a moment.

Jr tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mulder just stands there and leans against the cage. A short right from Mulder. The referee calls for Mulder to work.
Mulder lands a nice uppercut. Jr swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mulder comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. A shot in the inside from Mulder. Jr wants to take the fight to the mat but Mulder manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Mulder missing with knees to the body.
Mulder lands a right hand. Jr drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mulder gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mulder lands a hook to the side of the head. Jr wants to take the fight to the mat but Mulder manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Mulder misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jr.
Mulder lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Jr has a couple of punches blocked by Mulder.
Jr takes an elbow to the forehead. Mulder prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jr changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mulder fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Jr jumps guard but Mulder turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Jr blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Jr fails to pull guard.
The referee is keeping an eye on Mulder - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mulder lands an uppercut. Mulder lands on the inside with an uppercut. Mulder is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Still in the clinch, Mulder scores with a nice short uppercut. Mulder scores with a nice hook to the head. Mulder gets through Jr's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Jr jumps guard but Mulder turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Mulder tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Jr avoids it. Jr takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Andy Jr has been cut. Mulder throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jrs head. Jr is trying to break the clinch but Mulder has him pressed against the cage. Jr drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mulder scores with a nice hook to the head. Mulder blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mulder lands a hook to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fox Mulder dominated that round. The cut man is working on Andy Jr's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

Mulder lands a shoulder strike. Mulder gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jr.
Mulder lands a hook to the side of the head. A shot in the inside from Mulder. Mulder is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jr can do to turn this around? Jr is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Jr has a couple of punches blocked by Mulder.

Jr can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mulder controls the pace. Mulder preventing the sweep. Jr striking off his back but it's not causing Mulder any problems. Mulder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jr trying to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Mulder stuffs the takedown. Fox Mulder is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mulder has managed to clinch.
Mulder pushes Jr back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Jr has Mulder pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mulder manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Fox Mulder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jr takes a shot to the head. Mulder lands an elbow that stopped Jr in his tracks for a moment. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mulder creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Mulder lands a nice elbow. Mulder prevents a takedown attempt there.
Jr misses with a short punch on the inside. Mulder lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Jr's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Jr tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mulder smiles and moves away.
Mulder lands a nice hook to Jr's body. Jr takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Mulder moves into the clinch. Fox Mulder has scored more points in the clinch so far. Jr is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Mulder is defending well. A nice right hand lands inside from Mulder. A nice left hand lands by Mulder.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jr is rocked! Jr's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Mulder finish him? Mulder lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jr backwards. Clinched against the cage, Mulder lands a big elbow that drops Jr! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Jr is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fox Mulder! A relieved looking Fox Mulder thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
