PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knuckles OToole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weber's entrance music is We Are The Union - We Don't Care If Yesterday Burns, Stoke Up The Fire. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OToole lands with a right hand.
Weber feints a jab promting OToole to slip. Weber then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. OToole slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Weber explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

and OToole counters by moving into the clinch.
OToole lands with a short head shot on the inside.

and OToole makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Weber walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It seemed like OToole was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

OToole dips a shoulder and cracks Weber with a mighty uppercut! Weber falls back against the cage and OToole unloads with a barrage of strikes! Weber is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - OToole screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Knuckles OToole decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
