Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Krupok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Em (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boris Em has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krupok darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Em actively working from the bottom here.
Em wants to control but Krupok is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Em makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Em.
Em is trying to keep Krupok in close.
Krupok wants to control from the top but Em keeps moving.

Em is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Krupok presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Em has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Krupok after a bit of a struggle.
Em has Krupok pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Krupok manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Krupok has hold of one of Em's legs. Em is fighting the takedown attempt but Krupok gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Em pushes Krupok off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Krupok looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Em is pressing down on Krupok's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Krupok is sitting in close to Em's body. Em has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Krupok is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Krupok is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Em.
