Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Bunt Jernit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bunt Jernit! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colin Monroe! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jernit moves away from the strike by Monroe. Jernit moves away from the strike by Monroe. The fighters circling - Monroe throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Monroe lands an overhand right. Jernit looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jernit throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Monroe on the side of the head.
It looks like Colin Monroe has been cut. A lazy left from Monroe finds it's target. A telegraphed right hand from Jernit misses the target. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Monroe! But no joy. Monroe connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Jernit throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Monroe cracks Jernit with an open hand slap. Jernit throws a right hand that misses
enabling Monroe to counter with a crisp jab. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Jernit - that will leave a mark!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Monroe misses with an uppercut. Jernit throws a hook to the side of Monroe's head but Monroe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Monroe just misses with a punch to the body.
Monroe closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Monroe looks to land a right hand but Jernit moved out of range. Jernit appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monroe has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jernit. The fighters circling - Jernit throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A solid leg kick lands there for Jernit.
Jernit lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Jernit fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Jernit dodges the punch combination from Monroe.
A big right from Jernit misses. Monroe looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Jernit connects with an inside leg kick. Monroe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jernit. Monroe throws a combination that misses and Jernit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jernit displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Monroe throws out the jab. Monroe misses with an uppercut. Jernit saw that one coming. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Monroe throws an overhand right that lands on Jernit's shoulder, as Jernit tries to avoid the shot. Jernit looks to land a left hand but Monroe moved out of range nicely. A jab from Monroe misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jernit chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A telegraphed right hand from Monroe misses the target. Monroe needs to keep his hands up - Jernit had a free shot at his head there. Jernit dips to his left and cracks Monroe with an uppercut!
Monroe is rocked! Monroe might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Monroe defending well as Jernit loads up on a big left hand. Jernit tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Monroe is able to avoid easily. Jernit scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Monroe misses with a left hand and Jernit counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Monroe is still on wobbly legs! Can Jernit finish him? Jernit moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jernit moves out of range of the strikes. Monroe seems to have recovered his senses. Jernit avoids the body shot from Monroe.
Jernit jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Monroe walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Bunt Jernit! Bunt Jernit retains his bantamweight title! In his post fight interview, Bunt Jernit started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
